On Wednesday night, August 8, members of the local Des Moines Valley Region of the Sports Car Club of America will gather, as they have now for 20 years, at Stockman's Inn for some pre-fair fun on their annual outing of dinner, drinks and fun.
This year will be no execption when they set off on a State Fair
Walking Rally. They will have a set amount of time to scavenge the fairgrounds looking for answers to challenge questions. Smartphones and iPads will help and are encouraged.
Registration is from 6:00 - 6:30 and the first foot off will be at 7:00.
